Pragati Scholarship Scheme

The aim of Pragati Scheme is to encourage women students especially in technical education. This scheme aims to provide equal opportunity to women in technical education. Under this scheme, 81 seats are fixed for engineering diploma and 50 seats for engineering degree. Under the scheme, students studying in first year or second year engineering diploma/degree through lateral entry whose parents’ annual income is less than Rs 8,00,000/- are eligible to apply. Under the scheme, selected students are provided an amount of Rs 50,000/- per year. Under this scheme, female students are given assistance for their study expenses, so that they can reduce their struggle in getting education.
